David Schnasa Jacobsen draws together the strengths of two exegetical approaches to the Gospel of Mark in this volume of the Fortress Biblical Preaching Commentaries series. About the Author
David Schnasa Jacobsen is professor of the practice of homiletics and the director of the Homiletical Theology Project at Boston University, as well as a clergy member of the Dakotas Conference of the United Methodist Church. He is the author of numerous books, including Preaching in the New Creation (1999), and co-author of Preaching Luke-Acts (2001). He is co-author of Kairos Preaching: Speaking Gospel to the Situation (Fortress Press, 2009).
