O SON

PREFACE

In our time, everyone with a pen in his hand attempts to write

books. Being quite unaware of Islams teachings, he writes

whatsoever takes to his mind. If he is a powerful talker, he mounts

the platform offered and rants about his fancies and suppositions.

Whenever todays younger generation want to learn their sacred

religion, Islam, a legacy from their lion-hearted forefathers, they

have no choice but to read concocted tafsrs or publications of

Islamic history translated from books written in languages such as

English, Jewish and others by Islams enemies and which therefore

spew out their personal grudge and hatred (against this blessed

religion) or books and periodicals prepared by unlearned and

hypocritical vendors whose sole concern is to earn money by

touting for religion, or to acquire religious knowledge from

newspapers that have nothing to do with religion. However, the

number of the high quality savants schooled in our blessed religion

bears a fovourable comparison to that of the Israelite Prophets

and the thousands of books written by them have introduced and

taught Islam to the entire world. The correct Islamic knowledge

consists of the teachings of Ahl as-sunnat. For people who wish to

obtain detailed information in this subject, we recommend that

they read the the six fascicles of Endless Bliss, (which are available

from Hakkat Kitbevi of Istanbul, Turkey.) With a view to

protecting our Muslim brothers and Muslims children against a

misguiding and altogether different acquisition in the name of

learning Islam by reading the venom-outpouring books and

periodicals that are being published in rapid succession and which

worm their way into the publics attention and demand owing to

their sequinned verbosity, we have deemed it essential to

reproduce and republish a book which Suleymn bin Jez

compiled from books written by great Islamic scholars in the

Hanaf Madhhab and wrote with the title O Son in 960 [1552

A.D.]. There is yet another valuable book published under the

same title, Eyyuhelveled (O Son), and which was written by the

Hujjet-ul-islm Imm Ghazl rahima-hullhu tal (450 [1058

A.D.], Ghazl, Tus (Mashhad), Iran505 (1111), the same place).

The latter was translated by Mustaf Al Efendi rahima-hullhu

tal and was entitled Tuhfat-us-sulah. Moreover, Hdim

rahima-hullhu tal wrote a commentary to the latter. An

English version of Imm Ghazls book Eyyuhelveled occupies

the final pages of Documents of the Right Word, one of our

publications.

During the reproduction of Hadrat Suleymn bin Jezs work

we have added bracketed passages borrowed from other books or

important notes. We entreat Allhu tal to bless people who

attain the fortune of reading this valuable book to benefit from the

pure souls of those great people whose names are mentioned in it.

ای پسر پیشگفتار در زمان ما هر کس با قلم در دست تلاش می کند کتاب بنویسد. او که از تعالیم اسلام کاملاً بی خبر است، هر چه به ذهنش می رسد می نویسد. اگر او سخنور قدرتمندی باشد، بر پلتفرم پیشنهادی سوار می شود و در مورد خیالات و فرضیات خود ناله می کند. نسل جوان امروزی هر گاه بخواهد دین مقدس خود یعنی اسلام را که میراثی از پدران شیردل خود است بیاموزد، چاره ای جز خواندن تفسیرهای ساختگی یا انتشارات تاریخ اسلام ترجمه شده از کتاب های نوشته شده به زبان هایی مانند انگلیسی ندارد. یهودیان و دیگران توسط دشمنان اسلام و به همین دلیل کینه و نفرت شخصی خود را (علیه این دین مبارک) بیرون می اندازند یا کتاب ها و نشریات تهیه شده توسط فروشندگان ناآگاه و ریاکار که تنها دغدغه آنها کسب درآمد از راه تبلیغ دین است، یا کسب معارف دینی از روزنامه هایی که هیچ ربطی به دین ندارند. با این حال، تعداد علمای عالی که در دین مبارک ما تربیت شده اند، با پیامبران بنی اسرائیل قابل مقایسه است و هزاران کتاب تألیف شده توسط آنها، اسلام را به تمام جهان معرفی و آموزش داده است. معارف صحیح اسلامی از معارف اهل سنت تشکیل شده است. برای افرادی که می‌خواهند اطلاعات دقیقی در این زمینه کسب کنند، توصیه می‌کنیم که به منظور محافظت از برادران مسلمان خود، کتاب‌های شش گانه سعادت بی‌پایان را مطالعه کنند. و فرزندان مسلمان در برابر یک کسب گمراه کننده و کاملاً متفاوت به نام “آموزش اسلام با خواندن کتابها و نشریات پر زهر که به سرعت منتشر می شوند و به دلیل “” مورد توجه و تقاضای مردم قرار می گیرند. پرحرفی‌های پی در پی آن‌ها، بازتولید و بازنشر کتابی را که سلیمان بن جز از کتاب‌های علمای بزرگ اسلام در مذهب حنف گردآوری کرده و با عنوان ای پسر در سال 960 [1552م] نوشته است، ضروری دانستیم. کتاب ارزشمند دیگری با همین عنوان به نام «ای پسر» به قلم حجهالاسلام امام غزل رحیمه حله تل (450 [3/1058 م.)، غزل، طوس] منتشر شده است. (مشهد)، ایران505 (1111)، همان محل. این آخری را مصطف الافندی رحیمه حلو ترجمه کرده و عنوان تحفّت السلّه داشت. علاوه بر این، هدیم رحیمه حلو تل تفسیری بر این دومی نوشت. یک نسخه انگلیسی کتاب «ایم غزلز» «Eyuhelveled» صفحات پایانی «اسناد کلمه حق» یکی از انتشارات ما را اشغال می‌کند. در طول بازتولید اثر حضرت سلیمان بن جزس قسمتهایی در پرانتز وام گرفته شده از کتابهای دیگر یا یادداشتهای مهم اضافه کرده ایم. از خداوند متعال خواهانیم که به افرادی که به سعادت مطالعه این کتاب ارزشمند دست یابند، از ارواح پاک آن بزرگانی که نامشان در آن ذکر شده است، بهره مند گردند.”
