WORKPLACE VOCABULARY for ESL STUDENTS focuses on work-readiness English for adult learners. With a focus on workplace hazards and safety, the book illustrates the most common dangers, protective clothing/equipment, and safety/warning signs students can expect to find in a number of industries and workplaces in North America. It is intended for ESL teachers and instructors whose students are working or actively looking for work and getting ready to enter the workforce. ISO compliant symbols throughout the book add the visual support ESL learners need to internalize and retain important warning symbols and their meanings. A separate section includes extensive practice exercises. Multiple-choice questions, fill-in-the blanks, and Yes/No questions will help students practice and reinforce the topics they have learned.
